An annoyed Katrina tells him she wants to leave, saying she's not having fun because she doesn't know anyone at the party, but instead Mr. Peanutbutter makes her talk to BoJack, who leaves her too after realizing he needs a Halloween costume. Pickles tells Mr. Peanutbutter that just because he feels bad it doesnt make it okay. She gets upset, as it reminded her he'll never kiss her like that againand drives off crying and heartbroken. BoJack comments he's brought so many ex-wives and girlfriends over the years it's hard to keep track, a comment Pickles doesn't seem to appreciate. Mr Peanutbutter's penchant for codependency and his inability look within himself will lead him on a slow spiral of poor decision making and victimization. Diane then tells him she's moving to Houston with her boyfriend. BoJack's rude dismissal of Diane unwittingly triggered a long term realization within Diane about her relationship with Mr. Peanutbutter. Mr. Peanutbutter finally admits this is true and apologizes to Diane for being dismissive and not really listening to her throughout their relationship in their phone conversation in Angela. He tells BoJack that when his mom got old they sent her to a farm. He tries to be tough again but it doesn't work out again. It is also shown how nervous Mr. Peanutbutter was after he proposed to Pickles and how happy she was not knowing that he had previously cheated on her twice with his ex-wife Diane. Joey offers to go into business with him and Mr. Peanutbutter takes the offer. Pickles wonders if she's a rebound. She notices a cardboard cutout that looks like Mr. Peanutbutter behind a bookcase and discovers he wrote a memoir. When Mr. Peanutbutter tries to talk to Pickles she quickly kicks him out. Todd heads to Whale World to find said women. Although it makes Doug cry, Doug admits that he needed to hear it and gives Mr. Peanutbutter a hug and then thanks him.
