That said, the Hyper Vector BC is certainly my favorite of the bunch because they're A) the stiffest, B) the lightest (for the girth -- Objectives still have the edge for pure rando weight savings), and C) the best in hard snow. That is quite a weight/energy savings. It can flick through trees as well as hold an edge on the diciest slopes, thanks in part to its softened flex and deeper sidecut. The main feature I want in a binding is low weight, but I also see myself transitioning A LOT when using these fishscale skis because the approaches around here are constantly up and down.
